Shop refit completed

Managing Director Katy Brown in the revamped shop

The refit of the long-established mobility shop at 9 Scotgate, Stamford has now been completed, including internal alterations and a complete makeover of the retail space.

There’s extra display space with easy access, better lighting and new flooring as well as upgraded shop fittings and a fresh new colour scheme

Managing Director, Katy Brown says “It’s really exciting to see it finally completed. The whole idea is that new and existing customers can browse the items more easily”

The new space has created room for more stock, from wheelchairs, walking aids and mobility scooters, to products that make life easier around the home, especially in the bathroom and kitchen, like easy-pouring kettles and helpful jar openers. The extra display space makes it much easier to see and compare the products on offer.

Of course, the changes have been planned to make the shop as accessible as possible, with clear floor space for wheelchairs and level access from the pavement and the free disabled parking spaces nearby in the Scotgate car park.

The work, including internal remodelling, rewiring and complete refitting was all completed on schedule and within budget by J D Interior Solutions from Peterborough.

Katy concluded “Our whole focus is on making sure that people’s mobility issues aren’t preventing them from doing what they were once able to do” To find out more, just pop into the shop and browse or have a chat with Katy. The shop is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm and on Saturdays 9am to midday.
